Separating documented findings from speculation

Every summary begins with the study design, the sample or sequence under investigation, and the measurements the authors reported. We distinguish primary findings from discussion, limitations, and hypotheses, and we avoid restating conclusions beyond what the data support.

Our method

How we review molecular literature

01

Identify the source

We select peer-reviewed studies and record their journal, authors, and publication details before any analysis begins.

02

Map the sequence

Where a study reports an amino acid sequence, we annotate its residues and note the properties the authors actually measured.

03

Separate evidence from interpretation

Findings, limitations, and author speculation are labeled as distinct layers so readers can judge each claim on its own footing.
